Having learned his craft in some of the best Belgian and European establishments, he has gradually taken over Comme chez Soi. This was the restaurant that his father-in-law Pierre Wynants raised to the highest levels of global gastronomy from the late 1970s and onwards.
Lionel Rigolet today has two Michelin stars plus a 19/20 from Gault Millau, a publication that named him chef of the year in 2007. His cuisine is very much of our times.
